I could not have asked for a more perfect lady for the grand finale of the 30 Days of Beautiful project. Kerry is a dear soul who really needed to know just how beautiful she is. When she first got in touch with me this was the message she sent me (shared with her permission):
“Where do I begin….I suppose my Facebook account says it all…no photos. I have never ever had a photo taken that I’ve liked. At 48, the hard years are now showing on my face.
I had addiction problems in my 20s and although I’ve work hard to change my life, everyday is still a struggle. I look old and tired, I’ve got acne scars, big pores, bad hair I can never afford to have done and a handful of original teeth..😂 my plate doesn’t fit properly so I rarely wear it. My eyelids have disappeared under some weird eyelid flaps I’m growing and my eyebrows are plucked on occasion.
I work as a cleaner and after doing household chores I literally don’t have the energy for appointments and that’s even if I had the money 😏 I have 4 beautiful kids 3 Girls 28, 19 & 14 and 1 Boy. They are the most wonderful precious things in my life so to have a photo I would be proud to give them brings a lump to my thoat …..there are no words. Thank you and love your work!!” Kerry Quayle
THIS is the reason that I am both compelled and obliged to continue doing what I do! It’s women like Kerry who do so much for everyone else that they forget to give themselves some love too. Thank so much Kerry for being so honest and sharing your thoughts and feelings.
